Wokshop makes and a mug...

Good morning, dear Blogger friends on a soggy Monday morning here in North Wales! I thought I would pop in and share the projects we made at Saturday's workshop...
...Our first project was a tissue box cover made from kraft coloured card, scrapbook papers and silk flowers...
...The girls were all chuffed with their finished boxes and we thought that it was nice to make something for themselves for a change!...
...Our second project was a card using the Fish image and papers from Animal Antics...
...I'd just like to say a big 'Hi!' to all the girls, Margaret, Margaret, Joyce, Dorothy, Vera, Linda, Karen, Carol, Carole, Ruth, Clare and give a special mention to Melanie and Louise who are recent members to our group - it is lovely to have you with us!  I hope that Carol and Anna enjoyed their jollies too, as they couldn't be with us! :)
Hubby and I have also been having a play with a mug press that I've borrowed off my sister to see if we can get to grips with it and we managed to print our first mug for hubby's cousin before he went back up to Scotland...
...Not bad for a first attempt and with no instructions!  It could have done with being heated for another half a minute to get the image crisper, but it's a start!  Need to come up with some designs to have a go at next.
Hope you're having a wonderful start to the week and I'll be back in the morning with a special post for Passion for Promarkers.
Crafty hugs,

Hey Mrs, browning on images is normally due to overcooking rather than not enough. I would say the problem is that you need the colour profile which is available to download from saw grass which install as an option in photos hop rather than just the printers default print settings. If you know what I mean ... If you get stuck ask on Dsf. Co.UK and they will explain.

Hey back at you! It wasn't that the image was browned (that's probably my naff photo skills!) it was that the image was a little lighter than it should have been. It wasn't all that bad IRL and at least it was a start! Printer colours seem fine as they are, though I may need to tweak the settings when I get the refills. X
