Pebble pictures...

Good afternoon, dear Blogger buddies! Now, some of you may already have seen these on my Facebook page, but I thought that I would share over here as I know there are some that don't do the dreaded Face-ache!  I have to say, I was never a fan to begin with...but it is so much quicker than posting...or maybe it's that I need to change my view of blogging?!  I feel I need to write an essay when I post a blog post but with FB I tend to just add a few words...what do you reckon?...would you rather see more simple posts or do you like to know the 'behind the scenes stuff' and listen to my general waffle?!
Anyway, going off on a tangent!  I'm here to share a new craft for me...pebble art...now I know there are a lot of twee, naff ones, but I have to say, I was inspired by the very talented Sharon Nowlan who's work is all over Pinterest (I am a bit of a Pin-oholic!) and so this is what I came up with in homage to her work...

...I then created a pretty floral artwork using seaglass that my lovely eldest son (painstakingly, as he keeps informing me!) collected for me from Aberaeron beach...
I have enough to make up another one in a very light aqua blue, but I'll have to 'acquire' another of hubby's box frames...
Hope you all have a fabulous day and that the sun is shining wherever you are!
Hugs,
Lisa x

Wow Lisa, just love these gorgeous framed artworks, they are simply stunning. Who'd have thought that pebbles from the beach and seaglass could be made into something so wonderful. I especially like the little birds on a wire and the seaglass flowers are simply stunning. When we come to Wales next week with some of my grandchildren I'll have to set them to hunting for small pebbles and gorgeous seaglass. You are so clever and so inspiring, thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead of hopefully a nice warm and sunny week-end. Sue xx

Love these Lisa and yes I saw them on FB.I still love blogging and it's as it's Jane's Journal it is a journal of my last 6 years of my life and creativity. Personally I love reading your posts and "waffle" but perhaps that's my view point as my blog was never started with cardmaking in mind!! I agree though posts take a long time to write but for me it's part of the fun! Hugs xx
