Good morning, crafty friends and a Happy New Year to you all! It's Team 1's first challenge of the year over at Passion for Markers and I am playing hostess! For this week's challenge, I have picked a theme that I love...'Going Dotty'...I regularly use dotty papers and embellishments in my cards as I find they go with anything, so I would like to see all of your creations that have dots or spots - this could be dotty paper, enamel dot embellishments or even embossed dots...
We're being sponsored by The Paper Shelter who are offering one lucky winner 3 digital images from their online store...just remember that to be in with a chance of winning, you MUST use your marker pens (alcohol or water based) and follow the challenge theme...
I was lucky enough to get to choose this week's sponsor image and I picked out The Most Adorable Panda...and I think he is!...
In my attempt at being organised (still on target so far, but I am only a week into the year!?!) I created this card for my eldest son's birthday on Saturday...Happy 24th Birthday! I love a pun on a card, so couldn't resist using this sentiment with a nod to the current situation...
I coloured Panda with my Pro/Flexmarkers :
I was inspired by the talented Inge Groot's card HERE and must admit that I love the way this little card turned out...I will definitely be colouring this cutie up again!
I hope you can find the time to play along with my fun challenge this week and look forward to visiting everyone's blogs to see their wonderful creations...
Crafty hugs,
Fabulous, love the pun, happy birthday to your eldest, same age as my youngest. Stay safe love Jane x
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card, love all the layering, details and dotty papers. You have brought this little fella to life with your colouring also - who could resist him :)

Hi Lisa, oh wow this is just perfect - brilliant! I really love how it still looks clean and simple even though there are a number of layers and papers - great layout, image and colouring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments on my blog as well about staging images - I know that I also would chuck a card in my lightbox if I ran out of time and just take the picture without any props! So if you see a pic with props - I did it early, if not - it was a last minute rush job!!! However, my front door / hallway is very dark and miserable so never gonna see the mat! Before lightbox it was the conservatory floor for me!!
Hope you have a good weekend,
Sarah
lovely card! The colours you have used work so well for this little fella! x
