Love News Tilda

I'm back again with another card made using the fabulous stamps I got from SSS, this time I used Love News Tilda - I had already made this card in my head when I chose her - I decided to tie it in with Stamp Something's Challenge this week, which is Beachy Colours, so kept the colour scheme to blues, sand and yellow...
...I love the way this one turned out!  I coloured Tilda with my Promarkers (what else?!), then layered her up using oval and label nesties...
...the papers were a 12x12 plaid paper that Mam gave me a few sheets of and a scrap piece from some sheets that I got from Canada when on my honeymoon nearly 5 years ago!  See, it pays for us crafters to keep everything!!  I added roses from Wild Orchid and some yellow organza with a big plush bow, then 2 stunning hat pins which we picked up when on our travels with Di.  All edges were inked using Vintage Photo - couldn't do without my Distress Inks now!  I created the sentiment in PS...
...think it ties the card together nicely!  So that's it from me for today, thanks for looking!  I'm entering this card into the following challenges :
Beachy Colours
Anything Goes (with optional Kraft)
May Flowers #119

  2. What a sweet Tilda image. Just love the scalloped oval die and the pastels just do wonders with these images.
