...mind you, I think that should be hoarsing the way my throat feels! Both boys have been ill with cold/flu like bugs and I've been fighting it off for over a week, but it seems my immune system can't take the battering anymore and my throat feels like I've swallowed a cheese grater!
Anyway, I decided to console myself by sitting at my ridiculously messy table and trying to make something in the 4 inch square of space that I have! I noticed on the lovely
Coops blog that passion for Promarkers theme this week is animals, so I decided to create a card using one of my own digis (which will be available online in my digi shop in the near future - watch this space!)...
...I followed Bron's sketch over at the
Friday Sketch Challenge (think this will be used again in the future). The horseshoe was made using 2 different sized circle nesties and a few different sized hole punches - I think it turned out rather well?! The papers are from First Edition Desert Blooms 6x6 pad, this is a great pad for allsorts of cards, so versatile...
...my 'Laughing Horse' was coloured using Promarkers and 3D decoupaged with an extra 2 layers for more depth. The sentiment reads 'Heard it from the horse's mouth...' and inside, '...it's your Birthday!'..
...And a side view - I added the horse digi to the insert to finish.
