Anyway, I have had a few card orders to fulfill, so have had to get crafty (if only you could see my craft room now...well, maybe not!?! I desperately need to organise my craft room properly and sort out the storage - or lack of, but just don't know how to do for the best)...
I was asked to make a 60th birthday card for someone who likes baking, so it had to be the mixer and cupcake from A Play on Words...
Card Recipe -
Image - Mixer and Cupcake .png from Mixer set of A Play on Words
Papers - Flower and Polka dot from the Sewing set of A Play on Words
Spellbinders Circle dies
Marianne Craftables Lace edge Circle die CR1248
Spellbinders Petite Ovals die
Doily
Salmon Pink 25mm satin ribbon
Embellishments - Paper clay frame, sweetheart blossoms, mini roses, rosebuds, pearls, crystal glitter & Glossy Accents
I am still on a roll with my design work and have a number of images and papers created for my next disc - I am thoroughly enjoying the process at the minute and am really pleased with the way it's looking! I just have to keep going whilst I have the inspiration!
That's it from me today, have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for popping by to see me!

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've been suffering this week and glad to hear you're on the mend now.
I love this card and the papers you've used are gorgeous with the image. I haven't made an easel card for ages so I'm going to have to make one me thinks!
Take care of yourself,
hugs, Karen xx
Hi Lisa, lovely card that will be treasured I'm sure. I too am suffering with a terrible stiff and very sore neck, but I know what I did to make it flare up . . . steam cleaning hall and landing carpets. My arms and back were very sore then came the very painful and stiff neck which, like you say, gets worse the minute I sit down. Hopefully it will ease off in a few days as taking ibuprofen isn't helping. Take care and enjoy the week end. Sue x
