Our fabulous sponsor this week is Uniko, who are offering one lucky winner a stamp set of their choice (must be in stock)...
I went a bit off piste again for this one and decided to share another way of using your pens to create backgrounds and though I haven't done this for a while (and now wonder why the heck not?!) I love the effect that colouring embossing gives! I couldn't make up my mind which colours to go with, so ended up with a pastel rainbow of shades...
I am still very much in love with all things CAS, so I dug out my Spellbinders Curved Borders One and just added some grosgrain ribbon and a couple of small sentiment tags...sometimes less is definitely more! Oh, I did add some liquid pearls in Bisque to the embossed dots for a touch of shine.
Right off to shuffle some paper around to sort out for next workshop - Mam has just arrived, so I'd better get the kettle on!
Crafty hugs,
Lisa x

ReplyDeleteThat's a very sweet card but I wish you explained how you did it. Sorry for my bad frenchie English...
ReplyDeleteHi, Marjorie! Apologies of not detailing how I made this card...I have embossed a piece of white card using Taylored Expressions Leafy Vine embossing folder, then coloured over the embossing using my Promarker pens. It is quite easy to do, but more so if you use lighter shades in case you get and bleeding. I have then added some Liquid Pearl dots to where the dots are on the folder. Hope this makes sense! Hugs, Lisa
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your time ! It totally makes sense ! Lol ! It really is a very nice card. Love from France, Marjorie
