Anyway, on to why I'm here...it's a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week it's the talented Nic (aka Coops) in the hostess chair and she's given us a nice easy theme of 'All the Trimmings'. So we'd like to see all those pretty additions on your card, like lace, ribbon, twine, etc.
We're being sponsored by Polkadoodles who are offering 2 digis to the lucky winner - Twiggy & Toot Trimming the Tree and Bauble Wish...
I was asked to do a last minute Engagement card for a friend, so thought I would combine it with this week's challenge...
...I used the pretty Flowers Freebie that Sylvia Zet had on her blog (quite a while ago) and arranged it in PS with the sentiment. The image was coloured with my Pro/Flexmarkers...which I'm going to have to start replenishing soon as some of them are starting to run out! Oh no!
Colour list :
Large flowers : Blender, Blue Pearl, Cornflower, China Blue
Small flowers : Blender, Dusky Pink, Coral
Leaves : Meadow, Leaf and Bright Green
Tha papers are a mix from A Play on Words, Animal Antics and Another Play on Words and the trimmings I added were ribbon and lace. I also used a pretty heart dazzler, white and silver pearls, a touch of crystal glitter and some Liquid Pearls.I hope you get chance to join in with our challenge this week and look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations. Hop on over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what my wonderful teamies have been up to and to enter!
Hugs,
Lisa x
What a pretty pastel card Lisa. I love the combination of papers and your sweet floral image, just perfect for an engagement card.

Hi dear Lisa, yes the month is racing away isn't it. I know what you mean about the crafty stuff....however last week I proved a point...I was about to throw away some old painted chippie flowers but left them out..the next day whilst making Daisy's birthday card I needed something to prop the top of the easel card and yes the flower was perfect! Your mojo has not blown away at all as shown but your gorgeous layered card. Keep dry...the forecast today looks horrendous xx
