Anyway, I have managed to get ahead a little with my DT cards, so have something to share for the start of today's new challenge at Passion for Promarkers. This week our lovely Shelly has chosen the theme 'Patchwork' - so whether they're pre made or handmade, we'd like to see those patches on your projects! We're being sponsored by Little Claire Designs who are offering one lucky winner a 'Quirky Quilts' paper pack...
Don't forget to be elligible to win the prize you MUST use your Letraset products...
I decided to use the sewing machine digi and patchwork paper from A Play on Words and decoupaged some of the patches using foam pads. The image was coloured using my Pro/Flexmarkers and I added a large polka dot brad as a knob on the machine...
Colours used :
Linen, Vanilla, Mustard, Muted Pink, Tea Rose, Watermelon, Soft Aqua, Duck Egg, Surf Blue, Antique Pink, Ruby, Cool Grey 1 & 3, Sandstone, Caramel
...I replicated the layout on the inside, with a panel for writing your message on....et voila!
I hope you get the chance to join in with our fun challenge this week and if my card has given you some inspiration, can you please send some my way?! Don't forget to hop on over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see the wonderful creations that my fabulous teamies have created this week...I have to say, they're pretty awesome!
Not so crafty hugs,
Lisa x
This is lovely Lisa, a great layout and fab image for the theme. This CD has some really cool stuff on it which I managed to create with recently and made some of the 'quick cards' but since then - nothing. It must be the weather affecting us Lisa, I too have had Mojo issues not to mention computer troubles, all of which have meant no cards for at least a week and I have orders to get done so now I'm panicking - also not good for your Mojo. I guess it was full-on for you to get your CD finished and stock for the recent show so it is only natural that your creativity needs a break, I'm sure it will return soon.. ..and in the mean time if you can still produce cards like this when Mr Mojo is away, look what you will achieve when he returns! :)
