Good morning, lovely Blogger buddies! Hope you're enjoying the Bank Holiday Monday - it's a bit of a damp squib today with showers and grey skies, but at least it's not cold!
I'm back to share a pretty pop up box that I made using the Iris topper sheet and papers...
I really liked the way this one turned out and if you'd like to have a go at something similar, there is a tutorial on how I create the box base under the Tutorials tab at the top of my blog page...
I used the two main topper images and a little bit extra from one of the bordered images, then added in a couple of butterflies on acetate strips, so they are fluttering among the flowers. I felt that the back panel needed a little something, so added in one of my favourite embellishments...a cloud, of course...and used one of the iris stamps and sentiments cut into a fishtail shape.
Well that's it from me, don't forget that you only have to today to play along with our current challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, which is 'Make it Manly' and I'll be back soon with some more inspiration.

Rock dude...
Good morning, dear Blogging buddies! Hope you're all having a wonderful start to the weekend?! I have another pop up box card to share today, (which I couldn't share until after the recipient's party last night) featuring the fab Kenny K image, Rock Dude!...
...These images are such fun to colour and are real characters! I coloured Rock Dude with my Pro/Flexmarkers using the following colours :
...These images are such fun to colour and are real characters! I coloured Rock Dude with my Pro/Flexmarkers using the following colours :
Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink, Coral
Hair - Sandstone, Caramel, Cocoa, Henna
T Shirt - Soft Aqua, Aquamarine, Cool Aqua, Surf Blue
Jeans - Dolphin Blue, Pastel Blue, Cadet Blue
Guitar - Red, Crimson, Burgundy
Boots - Sandstone, Caramel, Cocoa, Henna
...I added part of the sentiment, star die cuts and gems to strips of acetate and attached onto the back cross bar. I created the second part of the sentiment and added to the front cross bar, then highlighted with a touch of glitter...
...I used some pale blue polka dot and a homemade plaid for the box panels and finished with a circle sentiment layered onto a SB Eyelet circle.
I just love these fun box cards and think they're great for creating cards with a bit of impact! Thanks for taking the time to come and see my Rockin' creation and I love to read any coments that you leave me! Until next time...
