Passion for Promarkers - Lots of layers...

Good morning, crafty friends! Well, another Tuesday rolls around again! It seems crafty time is at a premium at the moment, mainly because the season has started for us to get away in our campervan, Daisy and so every opportunity is grabbed with both hands...and apart from workshop makes and card orders, the only crafting I seem to do is for our challenges at Passion for Promarkers...Which is why I'm here!...
We have a brand new challenge starting today and it is my turn to host.  I've given you all a nice, easy theme of 'Lots of layers', so no excuse to play along!...

https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/leehollandart

We are being sponsored by the wonderful artist Lee Holland, who is offering one lucky person a choice of 2 digital images from his online store...and they are all just gorgeous! (Just don't forget that to be in with  a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use your Letraset/Winsor & Newton mediums and follow the challenge theme)

We were lucky enough to be able to choose an image to play with and I picked out the super cute Pig in Wellies, though I could have chosen any one of his wonderful images...

I had to give my little pig a pair of bright red, shiny Wellington boots to splash around in his puddle and made the sentiment to tie in with the theme...
The papers are all a mix from my CDs and the rainbow is from Another Play on Words embellishment sheets. I added a touch of glitter...because why not?!...and a couple of teardrop gems to represent water splashes.
I hope you can play along with my challenge theme this week and look forward to seeing all of your wonderful makes...
Crafty hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Anything Goes until 6th May
Anything Goes optional In the Pink closes today

Passion for Promarkers - Patterned papers...

Good morning, Blogger buddies! My, these days are rolling by so fast?!...the Easter holidays have begun and we've started our season in the camper, so weekends are being spent switching off to television, internet and technology, and replaced with bike rides, long walks and board games! Trying to fit everything into a short week after being away is proving interesting, but for now, it's back to some craftiness!...
We have a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers and we're being sponsored by the wonderful All Dressed Up, who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store...
It's the lovely Julie in the hostess chair this week, setting us a really simple challenge theme of Patterned Papers...what could be easier and something I'm sure we all have a lot of?!
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I picked the ever so pretty 'Butterfly Wings'. My patterned paper was from a pad that the lovely Denise sent to me, called Country Park and the green one has been in my stash...forever! I decoupaged the little butterflies for added dimension and added some crystal glitter here and there, because what fairy style image would be complete without it?!
Right, off to shuffle some paper around with Mum, in preparation for our next workshop...I hope you can find the time to play along with our easy challenge this week and look forward to seeing what you all create.
Crafty hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into All Dressed Up's April Challenge #92, which is Anything Goes using an ADU Image

Passion for Promarkers - Make it Cute...

Good evening, Blogger buddies! Sorry for the late posting, only we have spent the day at the NEC in Birmingham for the Sign & Digital Show, where they showcase all things print...so many wonderful ideas! I have come away with a want for vinyl cutters, sublimation printers and everything else in between...there are so many amazing products out there!
Anywho...it's Tuesday and you all know what that means by now?!...yep, it's a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers! This week it's the lovely Sue in the hostess chair, giving us a fun theme of 'Make it Cute' and we are being sponsored by Crafty Sentiment Designs, who are kindly offering one lucky winner 3 digi images from their online store...
http://www.craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk/ourshop/

Just don't forget that to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you must use your Letraset/Winsor & Newton mediums and follow the challenge theme...

Right, that's all the official stuff out of the way, so on to my card...

We were generously offered an image to play with and I went with the (aptly) ever so cute 'With Love' bear. I paper pieced some of the balloon patches and the little bear's pads with the yellow plaid from the Weather set of Another Play on Words and coloured him using my Pro/Flexmarkers. The backing plaid is from the Hibiscus set of Say it with Flowers and I added a pieced sentiment, rather than one large one. A layer of lemon glitter card and my signature three pearls finished the card off.

Right, there's a stack of dishes in the sink and a basket of ironing with my name on, so I'd better get a move on!...I hope you can find the time to play along with our challenge this week and look forward to seeing all of your makes.

Crafty hugs,

Passion for Promarkers - Springtime...

Good morning, crafty friends! Hope you all survived the weekend and storm Hannah?! We had major flooding around our area and it was hit and miss whether I would be able to get home from our card workshop on Saturday due to high water levels leaving our little village like an island with most of the roads inaccessible...hubby had to go and rescue my eldest son who knew his car wouldn't make it through the flood waters (that's what you get for having a sporty Fiesta!), but my trusty little Suzuki Ignis wasn't phased by it all (not to mention hubby's driving skills - the water was waving over the bonnet on his way home!)...

But it's all calm now and there's even a hint of Spring in the air...which leads me aptly onto this week's challenge theme over at Passion for Promarkers! The lovely Shelly has given us the easy theme of 'Springtime', so think Spring flowers, chicks, baby lambs, fresh colours...
We are being sponsored by Bugaboo, who are kindly offering one lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to their online store...
https://bugaboostamps.com/
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet Sun Bonnet Flowers...
I kept my card quite CAS, so that the image became the focal point. I coloured this cutie with my Pro/Flexmarkers and paper pieced her dress and hat, for a bit of interest. Some pretty pink loop edged ribbon, a themed sentiment and bit of doodling finished the card off, plus my signature three pearls!...

I hope you can find the time to play along with our challenge this week and look forward to seeing how you all interpret the theme...

Passion for Promarkers - Happy Birthday...

Good morning, crafty friends! Gosh, these Tuesdays are rolling around quickly and we're already into the third month of the year!

We have a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers today, with the lovely Nic (aka Coops) giving us the easiest of challenge themes with 'Happy Birthday'...so whether it's for a guy or gal, young or old, cute or grungy, we want to see your creations to celebrate Birthdays...

We are being sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps who are offering one lucky winner the chance to get their hands on 2 digi stamps of their choice from the online store...just remember that to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use your Winsor & Newton/Letraset mediums and follow the design brief. (it always helps us DT members if you can state where you've used your pens, for example, image coloured with Promarkers)...

For my card I used Altenew's Beautiful Day floral stamp set - I have been contemplating getting some of these pretty layering stamps for a while and thoroughly enjoyed colouring up this rose...

Colours used :
Blender, Primrose, Tulip Yellow, Sunflower, Gold
Meadow, Leaf, Grass and Forest Green
I used Distress Inks and Oxides to create the background which was then spritzed with water to soften. I stamped the accent flowers in the background and used water to create a faux bleach effect, before mounting my focal flower over the top using foam pads. The sentiment stamp is from a magazine set that I had...

I love the way this card turned out and hope it gives you inspiration to play along with our challenge this week. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with and don't forget to cjeck out what my talented teamies have created for your inspiration too!

Passion for Promarkers - Colour it...

Good morning, Blogger buddies and a happy Tuesday to you all! We have a brand new challenge starting today over at Passion for Promarkers and the lovely Marie has picked the easiest of challenge themes for you to play along with...'Colour it'...so as long as there is a coloured element (using Pro/Flex/Tria markers, etc) then you'll be in with a chance of winning this week's fabulous prize...which is a choice of 3 digital images from the fabulous Crafty Sentiments...
http://www.craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk/
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet Fifi - Bubbles...
Fifi was coloured with my Pro/Flexmarkers, using two of my favourite pen colour combinations - Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Surf Blue and probably my all time favourite - Cerise, Shocking Pink and Vermillion.  I paper pieced the bath and 3D decoupaged Fifi's hat, towels and brush for extra dimension, then added crystal glitter to the bubbles...The paper is from Echo Park's Country Drive paper pad and I added a bit of doodling...just because!
I hope you can find the time to play along with our super simple challenge this week and look forward to seeing what you all create!

Good morning crafty buddies, hope you're all keeping snug and warm as Winter still clings on to us...for the moment, anyway! It's Tuesday, so the start of a brad new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week it's my turn to host! I decided to give you all a nice, easy theme of 'Flora and Fauna', so I would like to see either flowers/plants or animals on your projects this week...or even both!

Please can you help us by stating which products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.

Our generous sponsor this week is Dies to Die For and the lovely Tracy is offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in her online store...

I decided to revisit an oldie image this week and picked out one of the lovely Digistamp Boutique Rosie images to use...
I just love this little cutie and she is so easy to colour! I teamed her up with some papers that I had received from the lovely Denise called Country Drive, from Echo park (love the Spring colours and there's even a paper with bees on...I mean, c'mon!) I coloured Rosie with my Pro/Flexmarkers...do you want a colour list?...okay, here goes :
