Almost finished...
...Well, it's almost ready! I have completed the artwork and interface for my latest disc and am just waiting for cases to arrive so that I can get on with production! My new CD-Rom is called 'A Play on Words' and is a fun take on everyday items with predesigned cards, CAS (clean and simple) cards, decoupage, toppers, backing papers, sentiments, 3D projects and inserts, plus all the files in jpeg and png format to play around with in your favourite graphics program or just print using Windows Photo Viewer!
There are 8 design collections featuring images including sewing machine, barbecue, food mixer, telephone, lawn mower, lamp, globe and kettle, plus corresponding images such as bobbins, burger, cupcake, typewriter, watering can, suitcase, toaster and more!
Here are some sample images to give you an idea of what's on the disc and I'm hoping to have them on sale here on my blog some time next week...
...I've throughly enoyed making it, something I wasn't sure I would ever do about a year ago - it has been a labour of love at times, though I'm glad it's all finished so now I can play! Hope you like it!
Happy crafting!

Passion for Promarkers - Sketch...
Good morning, lovely peeps! Can you believe it's Tuesday again! So, I'm here to tell you all about another fab challenge that's starting this week over at Passion for Promarkers! This week it's the fabulous Lou playing hostess and she has made a nice easy sketch for us all to follow...
This week we are sponsored by Letraset who are offering one lucky winner the chance to get their mitts on a fabulous set of markers!
I decided to use another of my prize images from Art Stamps by Kathryne for my card...
...I used Prima Sunny Days and First Edition Boho Chic papers and followed Lou's fabby sketch, which was just made for this image, called Gracie! It took forever to colour her hair, but I was rather pleased with the results and what better way to spend an hour of your time than colouring in?! I went with red hair for this card ( a change from my usual browns) to tie in with all the orange and peach tones. Gracie was coloured using my Pro/Flexmarkers and here's the colour list for all you Letra-setters :
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Don't forget to be eligible to win the prize, you MUST use your Letraset products
(i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic
markers or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.

Skin - Blush, Dusky, Sunkissed Pink, Coral
Hair - Rosewood, Auburn, Saddle Brown, Nutmeg
Dress - Tea Green, Honeydew, Pastel Green ,Soft Green
Shoes - Light Fawn, Soft Peach, Rose Peach, Umber
Fence - Vanilla, Sandstone, Cappuccino, Caramel
Butterfly - Pale Blossom, Blossom, Sorbet, Fuschia
Grass - Meadow, Leaf, Bright Green
...I decorated the inside of the card to match the front with papers and the black and white line image. Because the sketch allowed for such a large image, I didn't need much embellishment, so just added some glitter and a few amber diamantes and that was me done!
Hope you can find the time to join in with our challenge this week and don't forget to hop on over to my teamies blogs to see what wonderful creations they've come up with for your inspiration! Eileen, Julie, Loopy Lou, Lou, Marie, Nic aka Coops, and Shelly
Hope to be back soon with some more craftiness!

Jumping on the band wagon...
Good evening, my lovelies! It's a late one from me this evening! Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend and that the sun has been shining for you! The boys are on their Easter hols now, so crfaty time for me will be sparce!
Recently, I have seen a lot of the card-in-a-box style cards and decided it was about time that I had a go at one (especially after seeing the cutest version that Kathrin made over at Kruemels Bastel-Blog...so adorable!) So here's my take on one (apologising in advance for the terrible lighting in my pics - trying to take photos at night with a flash doesn't lend itself to quality photos!)...
...I decided to go fishy and use a cute fish colouring page that I found ages ago, for my images. I love the way they actually look suspended, swimming in mid air! This is, of course, achieved by attaching the elements to strips of acetate and not by voodoo magic!...
...I coloured the fishes with my Pro/Flexmarkers and used some ultra fine flower soft as sand along the base of each layer. I wanted to keep the box flaps quite simple so as not to detract from the fish and so embossed white card with a Cuttlebug circles folder, which I thought looked a bit like bubbles! I used one of my new plaid papers for the box base and stamped the sentiment using small alphabet stamps...
...The card still folds flat for popping into an envelope. I highlighted some of the embossed circles with glitter and added some pearls on acetate strips as bubbles too.
Hope you like my aqautic creation and I'm sure I'll be making some more of these fun box cards, now I am firmly on the band wagon! Don't forget that there's still chance for you to join in with my So Sentimental theme this week at Passion for Promarkers and I hope to be back soon with some more crafty creations!
Take care and have a great week!

Passion for Promarkers - So Sentimental...
Good morning dear Blogger friends! Well, we're already into April and fast approaching Easter, at this rate, it'll be Summer before we know it and we'll have blinked and missed it!?! Anyway, it's Tuesday once more, which means that it's time for another fab challenge over at Passion for Promarkers! I am in the hosting chair this week and have chosen the theme...'So Sentimental', so I would like to see a sentiment somewhere on your card or project...and even better if you can make it more than the usual Happy Birthday, but not essential!
For this week's challenge we are lucky to have 2 fabulous sponsors - Whiff of Joy (offering a lucky winner 1 stamp) and Angel Crafts who are giving away a mixed bag of crafty stash...
...So, here's my card to give you some inspiration...
...I have used some yummy Prima Fairy Rhymes and En Francais papers and one of my new designs and sentiments. The scalloped square die is from Crafts Too and I drew around to get the pink layer behind...
...The image was coloured with Pro/Flexmarkers, using :
...I added a cream satin ribbon and bow with pearl effect centre, then finished the inside with a printed insert.
I hope you like my little creation and that you can get the chance to join in with my theme this week! I look forward to visiting you all and seeing your wonderful creations! And don't forget to see what my wonderful teamies have been up to, they've created some truly wonderful inspiration for you...Eileen, Julie, Loopy Lou, Lou, Marie, Nic aka Coops, Shelly

Super CAS...
Good evening, my lovely Bloggers! I know, I know, where have I been?! Well to be honest it's just been a week where life takes over...there isn't one specific thing that has taken up my time, just a lot of little everyday things and then to top it off, my little man had to come home at lunch time and is lay on the sofa with a fever! It's not right having an unhappy Joshua, he is always such a smiley boy!
Mum and I have been trying to get ahead with workshop cards, what with Easter coming up and she's been here again today so that we can brainstorm (though it would probably help if we had a brain between us!?!)
Anyway...I do have a little card to share with you which is of the super CAS variety!...
...I saw this pretty little stitched flower die over on Sue Bearhouse's blog and just had to have it - then when I found out that it comes with a lovely picot edge circle die too, I was sold!!...
...The paper is from First Edition Love Letters and the flowers are made from scraps. I decided to use the leaf die from my Marianne button flower set and added some buttons to the centres of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment with individual alphabet stamps, so not a computer in sight!
I love the way this simple card turned out and will probably be knocking some more up with some of the innumerable scraps that I have! Hope you like my clean and simple creation and that it gives you some inspiration! Thanks for taking the time to come and see me today and I'll be back tomorrow with the start of a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers! Take care!
Huge crafty hugs,
