Christmas penguin...

Good afternoon, dear Blogger buddies!  I have been sat with my pencil and paper drawing up some new designs and have come up with this cute Christmas Penguin digi stamp, which is now available in my Etsy store...(click on any of the images to go to my shop)

..So then, I decided to have  a play and make up a card to join in with this fortnight's Creative Inspirations challenge which is a Bingo board...

...I have gone with two lines - Button, Twine, White and White, Distress, Dots.  I coloured my penguin with Pro/Flexmarkers and used the polka dot paper from the Sewing set of A Play on Words...
...I embellished him up with some snowflakes, twine, button, holly die cuts and a bit of glitter for sparkle.
I hope you like my new design and what I've done with him! Right, back to the grindstone and digitising my next image!
Hugs,
Lisa x

Passion for Promarkers - Clean and Simple...

...My favourite style!!
Good morning, lovely Blogger friends!  It's Tuesday which means the start of a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers!  This week it's the lovely Shelly in the hostess chair and she has chosen my favourite theme of 'Clean and Simple'...We're being sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo who are offering one lucky winner a $21 voucher to their store...how cool is that?!

For my card this week I was TOTALLY inspired by the uber talented Faye Wynne Jones of Stampin' Fluff 'n' Stuff fame's gorgeous card HERE and this is what I came up with...
...I printed the wording using PS, then cut out the word SNOW by hand...I know! I added the Snowman snowflake paper behind and coloured up the Snowman digi using my Pro/Flexmarkers...
...I outlined the word snow with some crystal glitter and a touch on the band of the snowman's hat then finished with a couple of punched snowflakes and 3 sparkly gems.  A really simple card but such a lovely effect...so thanks to Faye for the inspiration!
I have a list as long as my arm to try and get done today, including 2 wedding cards, a pile of ironing, kitchen and bathroom to be scrubbed and a hoover through...so what am I still doing here?! Hope you all have a fab day, whatever you are doing and that you can maybe find the time to join in with our fun challenge this week! Don't forget to see what my talented teamies have created for your inspiration over on the Passion for Promarkers blog...
See you soon,
Hugs,

Hi there, dear Blogger buddies and a happy and sunny Wednesday to you all from North Wales! I have a new design which has been listed in my Etsy and CraftsuPrint shops...

Isn't this snappy little crab just the cutest?! He comes with 3 sentiment variants : 'Don't be crabby, it's your Birthday!', 'Have a Snappy Birthday' and 'Oh, Snap!  I forgot your Birthday!'.  A fully decoupaged predesigned card kit including printed insert for just £1.80...hop over to https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ellasdesignwales or CraftsuPrint and search for Ella's Design...
Trying to get the house into some sort of order and get ahead with workshop cards, so I can get some new design work done.  I'll also be adding some of my digital stamps into my Etsy store, so if you like colouring, watch this space...! Thanks for dropping by to see me, it's always lovely to have your company!

Passion for Promarkers - Beautiful Butterflies...

Good morning, dear Blogger buddies!  This week sees the start of school for my little man and the start of a new job for my eldest as a trainee accountant!  I'm hoping that things will start to get back into some sort of routine, as I feel that I have been a bit of a headless chicken these Summer holidays and have been unable to find the motivation to craft for a long time!  My head and my heart are having a battle over what to do about trying to earn an income and some days I feel like just packing it all up, reclaiming my dining room and going out getting a job! (If only it were that easy!)  We live in a very rural area where jobs are scarce at the best of times and then there would be school holidays, etc to contend with...never mind, it'll all come good in the wash!!
Despite my moaning...it's Tuesday!...which means a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers!  The lovely Nic (aka Coops) is in the hostess chair and she's given us a very pretty theme of 'Beautiful Butterflies' this week, so whether it's a butterfly image, papers or embellishments, we want to see them on your creations.
We're being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store...
Don't forget to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use your Letraset mediums and follow the challenge theme...

...I decided to make my own butterfly images for my card and coloured them up with Pro/Flexmarkers then glittered with crystal glitter and added some faux pearls...
...The paper is from the Sewing set of A Play on Words.
I hope you can find the time to join in with our challenge this week and don't forget to hop on over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what my talented teamies have created for your inspiration...
Have a totally terrific Tuesday!
Hugs,
Lisa x
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Favourite Card base and why? closes tomorrow
My all time favourite card base is a 6x6 square because I find you can keep it clean and simple or fussy and fancy and it is much easier to balance the elements.  It can be scalloped or straight edged but it's usually square for me!
Anything Goes closes tomorrow
All Kinds of Everything - Butterflies closes 14th
Anything Goes closes today
