Passion for Promarkers - Make it Digital...

Good morning, dear Blogger pals and a Happy Tuesday to you all!  Hope the sun is shining wherever you are, as it's set to be a lovely late Summer's day here in North Wales! Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the lovely Marie has chosen a VERY easy theme of 'Make it Digital', so we want to see your digital images and papers...please remember to let us know what you've used and to be in with a chance to win the prize, you MUST use your Letraset mediums and follow this week's theme...
This week we're being sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a chance to win a $12.00 voucher to their store...
For my card, I used the ever so sweet Baby Giraffe from Lee Holland and digitally added the balloons as I wanted it for a first birthday card.  The papers are all digital and are from various CDs of mine...
...I coloured the gorgeous image with my Pro/Flexmarkers and added lots of pearls, a touch of grosgrain ribbon and dainty flowers using a Fiskars punch.
It's short and sweet from me today, I'm afraid, as I am busy trying to organise everything for the County Show tomorrow - the weather is supposed to be good, so I'm hoping there'll be a good turnout and maybe even make a few pennies?!
Hugs,
Lisa x

Passion for Promarkers - It's Hip to be Square...

Good morning, dear Blogger buddies and a Happy Tuesday to you all!  We have a new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers and as it's my turn to host, I decided to choose my all time favourite card shape and am giving you the theme 'It's Hip to be Square'...I LOVE square cards and just find them so much easier to design, whether it be clean and simple or fussy and fancy, it usually ends up on a square card for me!...
This week we are being sponsored by Letraset who are offering one lucky winner a fabulous prize of a Skintones set of 6 Brushmarkers...

...I decided to go with my favourite style of CAS to match my favourites shape of card and used the pretty Flower Vase image that I designed myself. The papers are from the Beach and Rose papers, available from my Etsy store...
...I coloured my image with Pro/Flexmarkers and paper pieced the vase with another of the Rose printed papers.  I added a little twine bow and one of the left over sentiments from my predesigned card kit.  Some grosgrain ribbon and a touch of glitter, which didn't want to show up on the camera and I was done...
...So, that's it from me!  I hope you can find the time to join in with my easy peasy challenge this week and don't forget to hop on over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what my talented teamies have created for your inspiration.
Hugs,
Lisa x

Pebble pictures...

Good afternoon, dear Blogger buddies! Now, some of you may already have seen these on my Facebook page, but I thought that I would share over here as I know there are some that don't do the dreaded Face-ache!  I have to say, I was never a fan to begin with...but it is so much quicker than posting...or maybe it's that I need to change my view of blogging?!  I feel I need to write an essay when I post a blog post but with FB I tend to just add a few words...what do you reckon?...would you rather see more simple posts or do you like to know the 'behind the scenes stuff' and listen to my general waffle?!
Anyway, going off on a tangent!  I'm here to share a new craft for me...pebble art...now I know there are a lot of twee, naff ones, but I have to say, I was inspired by the very talented Sharon Nowlan who's work is all over Pinterest (I am a bit of a Pin-oholic!) and so this is what I came up with in homage to her work...

...I then created a pretty floral artwork using seaglass that my lovely eldest son (painstakingly, as he keeps informing me!) collected for me from Aberaeron beach...
I have enough to make up another one in a very light aqua blue, but I'll have to 'acquire' another of hubby's box frames...
Hope you all have a fabulous day and that the sun is shining wherever you are!
Hugs,
Lisa x
