Passion for Promarkers - Eat, Drink and Be Merry...

Good morning, dear Blogger friends! It's Tuesday, which means the start of a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week it's my turn to host! With the festive season fast approaching, I thought I would give you all a topical theme of 'Eat, Drink and Be Merry!' So I would like to see all those puddings, pies, pastries and party foods, plus chocolate, cocktails and Christmas cheer!  Whether it is Christmas themed or not (although it would be nice if it were!) I want to see your culinary inspired creations...
This week we are being sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps who are offering one lucky winner the chance to choose a stamp set from their store (as long as it is in stock)...

Don't forget, to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you must use your Letraset mediums and follow the challenge theme
(It would be really helpful if you could tell us where you've used your Letraset products, for example, coloured with Promarkers)

...I decided to use the pudding digistamp from 12 Cards of Christmas and ended up with my usual CAS style card, despite having tried just about everything in my crafty stash on this card!...
Promarker Colour List :
Pudding - Cocoa, Henna, Umber, Black
Cream - Champagne, Linen, Blender
Holly - Red, Crimson, Burgundy, Leaf Green, Grass, Forest Green
...I used one of the House papers from Another Play on Words and some cream hessian and Mink coloured wide, satin ribbon, plus a few pearls and a string bow.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the berries for a touch of shine...

My crafty Mojo still eludes me, although I am still creating - I'm having to come up with some items for a craft table at our village Christmas Fair...I do wonder whether it is because of HAVING to craft that I am finding it so difficult, and maybe the Christmas break will give me chance to reassess where I'm going with my crafting and hopefully find a love of it again...because 2016 has been a long year!
Hugs,
Lisa x
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :

Anything Goes until 1st

Any image until 3rd

Passion for Promarkers - Christmas is Coming...

Good morning, Blogger buddies and a terrific Tuesday to you all!  It's a really quick post from me today to let you know that there is a new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers!  This week it's the lovely Julie in the hostess chair, choosing a very topical theme of 'Christmas is Coming...' (hence my quick post as I'm off to do some Christmas shopping!) We're being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink who are offering one lucky winner  2 digis from their store...
For my card, I used a super sweet freebie from the lovely Sylvia Zet which you can find on her blog HERE...
I used a mix of papers from my scrap drawers, some aqua blue grosgrain ribbon and a couple of XCut snowflakes, which I layered 2 together to give a bit more rigidity...
Some sparkle on his hat and a bit of bling to finish and I was done...
Don't forget there's still chance to enter your name to become a Design Team member for Passion for Promarkers - just hop over to the blog and leave your linky!
Right, I'm off - said it had to be a quick post this morning! Wish me luck with the shopping, I'm hoping to find some inspiration and come home with my list completed....fingers crossed! Have a fab day and I'll be back later to link up a couple of challenges...
Hugs,
Lisa x

Christmas Angel...

Good afternoon, lovely Blogger friends!  I hope you're all keeping warm during this first real spell of Wintry weather, here in the UK.  I have actually been having a little play drawing some new designs and this cute little Christmas Angel is now available in my Etsy store as a card kit...

...and digital stamp...

...There are 2 variations, one holding a Christmas banner and the other a blank banner, so you could paper piece patterned papers or add a name, so the card could be used for another occasion...
I have another design in the pipeline, so will hopefully be back soon with some more creations...
Hope you like them...
Hugs,
Lisa x

Passion for Promarkers - Tweetmas Wishes...

Good morning, Blogger buddies and a Happy November 1st to you all!  We're getting ever closer to the end of 2016 and the big event that happens just before...maybe I should start to get myself into gear, thinking about presents and cards...or maybe not?! I have to say 2016 has not been a crafty year for me and I have struggled to find inspiration and motivation throughout, but I will persevere and hope that 2017 gives me a fresh outlook...
But for today, I DO have inspiration...it's Tuesday which means another fab challenge starts over at Passion for Promarkers! This week it's the lovely Hazel who is choosing our challenge theme and she's gone for 'Tweetmas Wishes' so we'd like to see a Christmas birdie somewhere on your creations...
We're being sponsored by All Dressed Up who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store...how cool is that?! Just remember to be in with a chance of winning you must follow the challenge theme and use your Letraset mediums (Can we also ask that you tell us where you've used your medium, for example, 'coloured with Promarkers')...
We were lucky enough to receive an image to play with and I had the cute Tra, La, La...
I decided to go with my favourite style of Clean and Simple and created a doodled frame and sentiment in Photoshop. I kept the image quite large and die cut some snowflakes from the image layer...
...I matted onto a lilac snowflake paper and coloured my image with Pro/Flexmarkers, then finished with a bit of bling...et voila! I really quite enjoyed colouring this sweet image and have been playing around with some stamps...yes, you heard right...stamps...that I bought off the lovely Mel in workshop - they're cute little Stamping Up critters and they're actually quite fun to colour! Trying to make some quick and easy cards to maybe stock in a local shop...we'll see, if all goes to plan?!
Right, off to catch up on some ironing and pray that my little man has a good day in school today...trouble with bullying again :(
Hugs,
Lisa x
