Good morning, Blogger buddies! As promised, I am back to share the card that I made for this week's sketch challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, before realising that we had a sponsor image to use...
I used the Tulip digistamp from my latest disc, Say it with Flowers and coloured them up in soft, pink tones. The papers are from the Hibiscus and Daffodil sets and I added one of the small tag embellishments and a couple of coordinating butterflies...
I added a touch of glitter to the flowers and inked the edges of the papers for a softer feel. My string bow made another appearance as I thought it coordinated nicely with the string lace across the centre of the card.
If you would like to join in with our sketch challenge this week, hop over to Passion for Promarkers for more details and the chance to win 3 digital images from Ppinky Dolls online store.
The sun is shining again today, so it's time to empty the laundry baskets and make the most of it! Have a wonderful Wednesday, whatever you're up to!

Passion for Promarkers - Sketch...
Good afternoon, crafty friends! I'm a little late posting as I've had to do the dreaded food shop today...but I'm here now to share our latest challenge over at Passion for Promarkers! This week it should have been the lovely Ali in the hostess chair, however, unfortunately she had to step down from the DT recently, so Denise has temporarily stepped into the hostess chair! Ali had given us a fab sketch to work with, so this is still our theme for this week...
We are being sponsored by Ppinky Dolls, who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 3 digital images from their online store...
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet Abi's Love. These dolls have a real quirkiness to them and I often see them coloured up quite grungy and dark colours...but not me...I had to go with my favourite pastel colour tones! I used a mix of papers from my latest disc Say it with Flowers and kept the colours quite muted...
Abi was coloured with my Pro/Flexmarkers and here's the colour list I used :
I had made a bit of a boo boo before making this card, as I had a card all ready done to post, then realised that we had a sponsor image to use?! But every cloud has a silver lining, as I now have another new sample card for my box which I will share with you tomorrow!
I hope you can find the time to join in with our fun challenge this week and look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations!
Hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenge :

Skin - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush
Hair - Umber, Cinnamon, Cappuccino
Dress - Dove Grey, Dusky Rose, Antique Pink, Ruby
Bow - Dusky Rose, Antique Pink, Ruby
Socks - Cool Grey 1, Pale Pink
I flipped the sketch and added a narrow satin ribbon and bow, plus a fishtail with button. There seemed to be quite a lot of empty space, so I added in a couple of the butterflies from my flower disc. A touch of glitter and my signature three pearls and it was done...I had made a bit of a boo boo before making this card, as I had a card all ready done to post, then realised that we had a sponsor image to use?! More sample cards...
Good evening, Blogger friends! Sorry to be MIA...again...but life is taking over at the moment! The sun is till shining and we are making the most of it by grabbing every opportunity to go out in Daisy the campervan - we spent this last weekend in Porthmadog, at a really lovely site called Tyddyn Llwyn. We popped along the coast to Criccieth and visited the castle, before heading to Black Rock sands for an hour or two...begrudgingly, as both hubby and I don't like the sand as it gets everywhere, especially so when you're in a camper! Sunday was spent being energetic at Greenwood Forest Park, where we walked, climbed and slid until our legs ached!
Mum had to do the workshop on her own last week as we were off again, in Scotland, visiting family - so Daisy has been well travelled this last couple of weeks! I do, however, have the cards that were made, based on a couple of sample cards that I'd done for the upcoming Sincerely Yours show at Bebington on the Wirral...only 2 weeks to go!!...
The first was this pretty Hibiscus card, which looks so different when inked with Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I added in some extra die cut foliage and punched flowers between the decoupage layers...
...The second was a really quick card using some of the postage stamp embellishments, cut using a stitched square die. The pretty pink polka dot from the Hibiscus set and one of the paper bows and this card was almost done!
I really liked the way these turned out and they are very much my style with the soft, pastel colour tones...I hope you like them too?!
I'm going to be busy this week producing discs and finding everything for the show...table cloths, shelving, stands, business cards, posters, etc, plus sorting out my sample cards, but I will be back in the morning with details of a fab new challenge which will be starting over at Passion for Promarkers, so until then...Take care.

Good morning, dear Blogger buddies! It's Tuesday already, which means a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers. This week it's the lovely Shelly in the hostess chair and she's chosen a fun theme of 'Birds, Bugs and/or Butterflies'...
We have 2 prizes up for grabs this week, firstly Petal Lu are offering one lucky winner a 30% discount to their store and secondly we have a set of 6 vibrant tone Promarkers to give away...
I decided to use the sweet Wee Stamps Sympathy Bugs (love these cute little critters) and went for a fresh pink and aqua colour scheme, using the polka dot and gingham papers from the Hibiscus set in Say it with Flowers...
Here's the colour list I used for the adorable bugs :
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday, despite the damp weather...

Poinsettia...
Good afternoon, crafty friends! A quick post from me today to share another sample from my new CD 'Say it with Flowers'...and surprisingly, it's a Christmas card!...I know!...I don't normally do Christmas until around the 1st December, but sometimes it's nice to shake it up a little!...
...So this is one of my all time favourite card layouts - it uses the Poinsettia topper and papers, plus I added in some more foliage with a few leaf and sprig die cuts...
I added lots of glitter, pearls and finished the inside with a coordinating printed insert.
Well that's another sample to add to my stash for the Sincerely yours papercraft show at Bebington, on the Wirral, in a few weeks time. I'll be back in the morning with a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, so until then...have a marvellous Monday!
