Good morning, dear Blogger buddies! Gosh, these weeks are whizzing by so fast...we are nearly at the end of another month and as it's Tuesday, it's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers!
The lovely Marie is in the hostess chair this week and she has given us a super easy theme of 'Dies/Punches'...We are being sponsored by Crafty Sentiments who are offering one lucky winner a chance to choose 3 digital images from their online store...
We were lucky enough to choose an image to play with for our DT card and I picked the ever so sweet 'Just Relax'...
I coloured her up using my Pro/Flexmarkers, paper piecing her trousers and decoupaging her head and hands for added interest. I decided to make a shaker card, in the shape of a polaroid style frame - I absolutely love the bee paper that is behind the window (I have a bit of a thing for bees...and clouds...and pink, in my crafting!) I made some miniature pencils from kebab sticks, adding one in her hand and teaming the others with a note paper die from Sizzix. Some gold stars and one of my favourite banner dies finished everything off, with a small stamped sentiment in a typewriter font...
...I was rather pleased with how this one turned out and even surprised myself with my flat lay photography...not the best, but a definite improvement!
I hope you can find the time to play along with our fun challenge this week and look forward to seeing all of your wonderful creations...

Passion for Promarkers - Photo Inspiration...
Good morning, crafty friends! Another Tuesday rolls around, which can only mean one thing...that it's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!
It's my turn to host this week and with Valentine's Day in a few days, I've given you all a topical photo inspiration with a much looser theme, so it could be a card for someone you love, or just take inspiration from the layout, colour scheme, flowers, coffee cups or hearts...however you interpret the picture...
We are being kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a $6 voucher to their online store...just don't forget to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use your Letraset/Winsor & Newton mediums and follow the challenge theme...
Those that know me well, will know that I love pink in my crafting and so pink had to feature in both my photo inspiration and my DT card! I decided to take inspiration from the colour scheme, flowers and heart motifs in the photo and stamped up my Altenew Beautiful Day stamp, coloured with Promarkers. I fussy cut the flowers and layered them up with some gold leaves from Sweet Dixies Delicate Blossoms die set and green ones from the Christmas Rose die set. The pretty lace heart is one I picked up in The Works and I added a couple of extra pearl heart embellishments which I found in Home Bargains when out shopping. All the papers are ones that I had in my stash and I am on a bit of a mission to use!
This may turn out to be hubby's Valentine's card...unless I get chance to do another one before then, but if not, the insert will be stuck in with the tiniest bit of double sided tape so that I can recycle it at a later date?!! Who says romance is dead?!! Ha, ha!...
I hope you can play along with my pretty challenge this week and as it's my turn to host, I look forward to seeing how you interpret my photo inspiration too...
