Passion for Markers - Colours of Autumn...

Hello there, crafty friends, from a wet and windy North Wales! We have a new challenge starting over at Passion for Markers this week, with the lovely Julie choosing a topical theme of 'Colours of Autumn'...

We're being sponsored by the wonderful Rachel Ann Miller Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digital images from their online store...

We were lucky enough to get to choose an image from Rachel's new Halloween release and I picked out the super cute 'Ghost Greetings'...

I thought that the image would be perfect for a shaker card, so went with it and cut out the banner for the shaker element. This image was so quick and easy to colour, just using Pebble Blue Promarker and a blender pen for the ghosts, which were decoupaged on top. I used a random orange and green pen that was on my desk to colour the sentiment and added a touch of blush to the ghosts using Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide on a cotton bud...

I hope you can find the time to play along with our challenge this week and look forward to seeing all of your wonderful creations...

Crafty hugs,

Lisa

Passion for Markers - Christmas in September...

It's Christmas in September over at Passion for Markers this week, with the lovely Sue choosing our festive theme. We're being sponsored by Colour of Love Digi's who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 3 digital images from their online store...

We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I picked out 'Sleeping Holiday Fred Gnome'...

I coloured Fred with my Pro/Flex Markers and here's the colour list I used -

Skin - Dusky Pink, Coral, Cinnamon

Beard and fur - Pebble Blue, Storm Grey

Hat and top - Pear Green, Moss, Olive Green, Denim Blue, Celestial Blue, Cadet Blue

Holly - Grass, Forest Green, Holly

Bow - Red, Poppy, Crimson, Burgundy

Bells/baubles - Champagne, Sandstone, Cappuccino

I kept my card clean and simple, just adding a touch of glitter, gems and die cut snowflakes. I inked the background with Broken China Distress Oxide and the edges with black, adding a strip of polka dot paper to ground the image...

I hope you can play along with our fun challenge this week and look forward to seeing all of your fabulous festive makes!

Crafty hugs,
