I saw this cute Spellbinders My Favourite Monster die in the recent sale and didn't think I needed him...until I saw Denise's card using him! A quick hop over to the Spellbinders site and he was winging his way to North Wales to be yet another addition to my crafty stash! 😜...
I wish we could get Welsh sentiment dies like the birthday one, but I've "discovered" a simple alphabet die in my stash (after making this card, of course!) and am playing with making my own. The trouble is "Penblwydd" is such a long word, so I may have to go small with the penblwydd and a large "Hapus"...oh, the problems of being a crafter!?!
I do like the way he turned out though and am pretty pleased with the galaxy background, made using Wilted Violet, Peeled Paint and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks and Oxides, splashed with water...
