Passion for Promarkers - Add Some Bling...

Good morning, Bloggers! Like a lot of people, I had promised myself that I would try to blog more this year...not a great start is it?! But I'm here now...and it's Tuesday, which means another fab challenge from Passion for Promarkers for the beginning of 2017!
This week we have the lovely Marie in the hostess chair and she's chosen us a nice, easy theme of 'Add some bling'...We are being kindly sponsored by Bugaboo, who are offering one lucky winner 4 digis from their store...how cool is that?!
Don't forget, to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use Letraset mediums and follow the challenge them. (It would also help if you let us know where you've used your Letraset products, i.e. coloured with Promarkers)
...We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I chose the ever so cute Ladybug Line!...
I really enjoyed this challenge theme, although it is an absolute nightmare to photograph! My pretty card is really quite blinged up in real life with black gems on the ladybirds antennae, crystal glitter on the wings, sparkly gold twine, red glitter card mat and a sprinkling of crystal gems, plus a bit of Glossy Accents on their noses...
...I chose this image because I thought it would lend itself to my favourite CAS style and just love the black and red combo of ladybirds...
Colours :
Ladybirds - Red, Berry, Crimson, Burgundy, Cool Grey 1, 3, 4 & 5
Leaves and grass - Meadow, Leaf, Grass
Wings - Sea Mist, Tea Green
Shadow - Blue Grey 1, Dolphin Blue, Blue Pearl, Blender
This card has been sent to a friend, who's birthday was yesterday, so I hope she liked it as much as I do! Right, off to sort out the breakfast mess and then hopefully a chance to sit at my crafty table later!
Don't forget to hop over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what my talented teamies have been creating for your inspiration and I hope you can find the time to play along with us!
Hugs,
Lisa x

Hello dear Lisa. What a sweet card and I bet it really is very sparkly IRL, the light this time of the year is very tricky isn't it. I love the design and colours too. A belated happy new year to you and yours. Keep snug, a cold snap appears to be on it's way and I think you may well get some of the white stuff. It looks like we may be spared down here. Hugs xxx

A really gorgeous card using this cute image. I can see the sparkle on the side view picture, it's very frustrating though when the camera doesn't play nicely and pick up the touches of glitter when you want it to.
All my New Years resolutions start off with great gusto and good intentions but wain very quickly I'm afraid, I wish I had the will power but things just seem to take over. So you are among an elite club Lisa :o)
Happy New Year.

Gorgeous card, Lisa, with fab colouring.

Thank you for your kind comments on my 'peel-off, glitter & promarkers' card. They are such fun to do...just as well, because I have lots of old black peel-offs which I must use up.

Hugs,
Jennifer. x
