Sherriff Bobby...

Woo hoo!  This card came Top 3 at Stampin' for the Weekend
and also Top 3 at I Love Promarkers!

Good morning, my lovelies!  Looks like it's going to be another washout for the next few days, but at least it's nearly the weekend!
For today's post. I thought I'd share another card made using one of the fabulous MilkCoffee digistamps that I purchased last week...
...So, this is Sherriff Bobby - don't you just love him?!  Having 2 boys myself, I quite enjoy making male cards (?!), so just had to have this little cutie when I saw him!  The papers I used are all from my scrap drawers (which are getting rather full now and so I'm trying to use some of them up!) but  I know they're from Dovecraft's Masculine paper pack and the stripe is from a Beary Patch 12x12 paper...
...I coloured Bobby with my Pro/Flexmarkers and used a gold pen to highlight his badge and buckles.  I have used an old layout that I used way back in March, but tweaked it a little and left the circle blank so that I can put an age number on it if anyone wants!...
...I decorated the inside to compliment the front, using the black and white line image and some coordinating papers...Here's a close up...
...Well, that's it from me for another day!  Thanks for dropping by to see me and I hope you like my Sherriff Bobby card!
Crafty hugs,
Lisa x

That's a fabulous card Lisa! Love the image (and your colouring) and great colour choices as well, Much as I enjoy doing girly cards - I do find the boys ones just as much fun. Good job my daughter's best friend is a little boy, otherwise I'd have no one to make them for!

Great card Lisa, I always feel male themed cards are a challenge (I have 2 boys too) I recognise those papers too,
think I might just have some in my stash!...lol Great idea of leaving the cirlce blank until you need the card, never thought of that.....lol (duh!)

Have a good weekend, hope the rain disappears ;) xx

Stunning colouring Lisa and your cutting out is so neat. It's a great male card and the papers really finish it off so well. I struggle with young boys cards, for the older one's I just go grungy and put my Tim Holtz had on! Enjoy the weekend, the rain is getting really boring now isn't it. Hugs xx
