Good morning, crafty friends! Wow! What a fabulous long weekend we had here in North Wales...the sun shone and we had a mad busy time trying to get all the jobs ticked off our, seemingly never ending, list of things to do! We managed to squeeze in a couple of barbecues (at little man's request, though I will never refuse the opportunity for hubby to cook and I have to admit, he's a dab hand with the coals!) Some jobs, unfortunately, created more and there's also a list of stuff for me to do in the house too, so there will be no peace for the wicked!
The sun is still trying to shine, for now...and it's Tuesday...which means a brand new challenge starts today over at

We were lucky enough to get a choice of image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet
'Girl with Giant Ice Cream'...
I used the photo colour scheme as inspiration, picking out the lime green, creams and touch of hot pink...
I coloured the image with my Pro/Flexmarkers and added some cream hessian for a bit of texture. With the topic of the image being so summery, I thought I could get away with adding a couple of my favourite crafty embellishments...clouds!
