Passion for Promarkers - Anything Goes...

Good morning, dear Blogger buddies and a happy Tuesday to you all! The sun is shining and we are recovering from a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend spent away in our campervan, Daisy...though it's back to earth with a bump today, playing catch up with all the household chores and washing!
I hope you're enjoying the fabulous taste of Summer that we're having (I am being optimistic that there will be more to come later in the year?!) whatever you're up to...
But for now, I would like to say a BIG thank you to those of you that took the time to play along with our special Anniversary challenge last week and let you know about our brand new challenge which starts today over at Passion for Promarkers...
It's the lovely Sue in the hostess and she's given us the easiest theme there is...'Anything Goes', so whether it's a card or other project, as long as you use your Letraset/Winsor & Newton mediums, you can be in with a chance of winning this week's prize, which is a choice of 2 digis from the fun Dr Digi's House of Stamps...
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I decided to go with something for the boys...
I created this fun slider card using the Retro Rocket image from Dr Digi and 3D decoupaged it for a bit of dimension...
The background was created using Candied Apple and Dusty Concord Distress Inks plus Tuxedo Black Memento, which I then spritzed with water to give the galaxy effect. The Rocket slides to reveal the sentiment 'Hope your day is out of this world!', and I added some die cut stars and a few diamantes to finish off this simple kinetic card...
I hope you can find the time to play along with our easy challenge this week and look forward, as always, to see what you have created...
Crafty hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Anything Goes optional Masculine closes tomorrow
#68 Anything Goes closes today
Little Boy Blue closes tomorrow
(I've made a card for a boy)
May challenge Anything Goes

This week is one of my favourites of the year, firstly because it's my hubby's birthday week and secondly because it's Chelsea Flower Show!...I have a real passion for plants and would love to have a beautiful garden like you see on the telly...maybe one day?! With Chelsea in mind, I had to go with a floral theme, using the Hibiscus digi image from Say it with Flowers CD-Rom...
I really like this card layout and love the pop of hot pink that I used to colour the pretty flower. The papers were all from the Hibiscus set from my CD-Rom and the sentiment was one I found in my scrap drawers...I am on a mission to try and use up more of my scraps as I think that they are secretly multiplying in the night?!
I hope you can find the time to join in with our Birthday celebrations and look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations! Both Teams have made cards to give you plenty of inspiration and you can see them all at the Passion for Promarkers blog...
Crafty hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the I Love Promarkers 'Anything Goes' challenge which closes on the 28th May (click the link above to play along)

Passion for Promarkers - Photo inspiration...

Good morning, crafty friends! Wow! What a fabulous long weekend we had here in North Wales...the sun shone and we had a mad busy time trying to get all the jobs ticked off our, seemingly never ending, list of things to do! We managed to squeeze in a couple of barbecues (at little man's request, though I will never refuse the opportunity for hubby to cook and I have to admit, he's a dab hand with the coals!) Some jobs, unfortunately, created more and there's also a list of stuff for me to do in the house too, so there will be no peace for the wicked!

The sun is still trying to shine, for now...and it's Tuesday...which means a brand new challenge starts today over at Passion for Promarkers. This week it's the lovely Shelly in the hostess chair and she's given us a Photo Inspiration theme to follow...
We are being sponsored by Time for Tea Designs who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 3 digital images from their Etsy store...

https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TimeforTeaDesigns?ref=l2-shop-header-avatar

We were lucky enough to get a choice of image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet 'Girl with Giant Ice Cream'...
I used the photo colour scheme as inspiration, picking out the lime green, creams and touch of hot pink...
I coloured the image with my Pro/Flexmarkers and added some cream hessian for a bit of texture. With the topic of the image being so summery, I thought I could get away with adding a couple of my favourite crafty embellishments...clouds!

Right, now it's over to you!...If you would like to play along with our fun challenge this week, then get out your pens and hop over to the Passion for Promarkers blog to enter your creation and I look forward to popping by to see what you've all made!

I'm off to finish painting the bathroom - just one of the jobs on my to do list...have a terrific Tuesday, whatever you're doing and I'll be back soon with some craftiness.
Hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Anything Goes optional flowers closes 10th
Anything Goes closes today
Anything Goes until 24th
Anything Goes closes tomorrow

Christmas heart plaque...

Good morning, Blogger buddies! What a lovely morning we are getting up to here in North Wales - the sun is shining and I've been crafting! Now don't fall over or anything...I've made something for Christmas?!....I know...and it's not even December?!...
...I inked and stencilled the background with Distress Inks and over stamped with a text stamp for more depth, then started adding 'stuff'...I don't want to keep chucking stuff at it, but don't know if it is Christmassy enough?! Maybe it needs some holly leaves or something?
I have another 2 of these large mdf hearts, so if you have any inspiration for what I could do with the other two, I would be most appreciative!
Have a terrific Tuesday, whatever you're up to and don't forget that there's a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers with Team 2 in the hot seats and a theme of 'Embossing' (wet or dry)...
Hugs,

New Etsy listings...

Good morning, crafty friends! I am trying my hardest to find some crafty motivation and get in the right frame of mind for creating, both physically and digitally...and although it is still hard, I feel I am slowly finding the inspiration to draw again!
I know I have neglected my little, online corner of Blogland and am hoping to resolve this as my motivation and inspiration returns! For now, I have two new card kits that have been listed in my Etsy shop and are also available at CraftsuPrint...

I have created two Twist and Pop kinetic cards - one with pretty butterflies and the other with my Grapevine and wine images. The card kits come with the printable template for creating the card base and mechanism, all the decorative panels, with decoupage layers and photographic instructions on how to create the card base. They are priced at £1.99 each and are available now...
I hope you like my kinetic cards and hope to be back with some more paper creations soon...

Passion for Promarkers - Celebrations...

Good morning, Blogger buddies! We have a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers and this week's theme has been set by the lovely Nic (aka Coops), who would like to see all your creations for 'Celebrations'...so this could be for a wedding, Birthday, new baby, or any other type of celebration!
This week we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter who are offering one lucky winner 3 digital images from their online store...
http://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=
Don't forget, to be in with a chance of winning this prize, you MUST use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products AND follow the challenge theme...it would also help the Design Team if you could state where you have used the products, i.e. coloured with Promarkers...

We were given the choice of an image to work with and I picked out the ever so pretty 'Wedding Cake'...I teamed it with pastel papers and did a bit of doodling to tie in the black outline of the image, then finished with some Liquid Pearls and a couple of diamante hearts.

I am still finding it hard to get the motivation to go in my craft room at the moment and think I may need to do a declutter, to clear my head and craft space a little...we have had some wonderful weather recently, which means we have been spending time outside and in our beloved campervan, Daisy! We got to spend the weekend at a fabulous site in Mid Wales called Fforest Fields, near Builth Wells and thoroughly enjoyed just chilling out in the sunshine...Josh got to have a go at kayaking on the lake and thinks he may have found a new hobby, so I'll have to get him brushed up on his swimming skills!...
It's back to the usual sunshine and showers this week, so maybe I'll be inclined to do more inside...I have a bathroom to paint, bedroom to sort out and craft room to declutter, so wish me luck!
Hope you can find the time to play along with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing what you all create!

Passion for Promarkers - Blooming Days...

Good morning, crafty friends and a happy, if somewhat grey, Tuesday to you all! It's the start of a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the lovely Marie has chosen us a Springtime theme of 'Blooming Days', so we'd like to see all those florals...it can be a floral image, papers, die cuts, embellishments or even embossing!
We are being sponsored by the wonderful All Dressed Up Stamps and they are offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digital images from their store...so what are you waiting for?...floral frenzy!
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I chose the ever so pretty Jam Jars...
I decided to create a shaker card, as I've not done one for AGES, though I don't know if it shows up very well in my photo...mainly because I have the workmen in stripping the bathroom out and just had to grab a photo on my phone when I got chance!
It's a bit of a chaotic week in our household, with the work going on upstairs and trying to get the camper, and everything that needs to go in it, ready for a friend's wedding this weekend, plus keeping on top of the usual stuff, clothes for school/work, packed lunches, washing/ironing, etc...how do people manage to go to work?! I'm sure I have less hours in a day than everyone else!
Right got to dash, workmen will be here any minute, so I need to make sure that the kettle is filled...if nothing else, I couldn't cope without tea!
Have a terrific Tuesday and I hope you can join in with our fun challenge this week!
Hugs,
