Passion for Promarkers - Springtime...

Good morning, crafty friends! Hope you all survived the weekend and storm Hannah?! We had major flooding around our area and it was hit and miss whether I would be able to get home from our card workshop on Saturday due to high water levels leaving our little village like an island with most of the roads inaccessible...hubby had to go and rescue my eldest son who knew his car wouldn't make it through the flood waters (that's what you get for having a sporty Fiesta!), but my trusty little Suzuki Ignis wasn't phased by it all (not to mention hubby's driving skills - the water was waving over the bonnet on his way home!)...

But it's all calm now and there's even a hint of Spring in the air...which leads me aptly onto this week's challenge theme over at Passion for Promarkers! The lovely Shelly has given us the easy theme of 'Springtime', so think Spring flowers, chicks, baby lambs, fresh colours...
We are being sponsored by Bugaboo, who are kindly offering one lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to their online store...
https://bugaboostamps.com/
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet Sun Bonnet Flowers...
I kept my card quite CAS, so that the image became the focal point. I coloured this cutie with my Pro/Flexmarkers and paper pieced her dress and hat, for a bit of interest. Some pretty pink loop edged ribbon, a themed sentiment and bit of doodling finished the card off, plus my signature three pearls!...

I hope you can find the time to play along with our challenge this week and look forward to seeing how you all interpret the theme...

Passion for Promarkers - Happy Birthday...

Good morning, crafty friends! Gosh, these Tuesdays are rolling around quickly and we're already into the third month of the year!

We have a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers today, with the lovely Nic (aka Coops) giving us the easiest of challenge themes with 'Happy Birthday'...so whether it's for a guy or gal, young or old, cute or grungy, we want to see your creations to celebrate Birthdays...

We are being sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps who are offering one lucky winner the chance to get their hands on 2 digi stamps of their choice from the online store...just remember that to be in with a chance of winning the prize, you MUST use your Winsor & Newton/Letraset mediums and follow the design brief. (it always helps us DT members if you can state where you've used your pens, for example, image coloured with Promarkers)...

For my card I used Altenew's Beautiful Day floral stamp set - I have been contemplating getting some of these pretty layering stamps for a while and thoroughly enjoyed colouring up this rose...

Colours used :
Blender, Primrose, Tulip Yellow, Sunflower, Gold
Meadow, Leaf, Grass and Forest Green
I used Distress Inks and Oxides to create the background which was then spritzed with water to soften. I stamped the accent flowers in the background and used water to create a faux bleach effect, before mounting my focal flower over the top using foam pads. The sentiment stamp is from a magazine set that I had...

I love the way this card turned out and hope it gives you inspiration to play along with our challenge this week. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with and don't forget to cjeck out what my talented teamies have created for your inspiration too!

Passion for Promarkers - Colour it...

Good morning, Blogger buddies and a happy Tuesday to you all! We have a brand new challenge starting today over at Passion for Promarkers and the lovely Marie has picked the easiest of challenge themes for you to play along with...'Colour it'...so as long as there is a coloured element (using Pro/Flex/Tria markers, etc) then you'll be in with a chance of winning this week's fabulous prize...which is a choice of 3 digital images from the fabulous Crafty Sentiments...
http://www.craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk/
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I went with the ever so sweet Fifi - Bubbles...
Fifi was coloured with my Pro/Flexmarkers, using two of my favourite pen colour combinations - Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Surf Blue and probably my all time favourite - Cerise, Shocking Pink and Vermillion.  I paper pieced the bath and 3D decoupaged Fifi's hat, towels and brush for extra dimension, then added crystal glitter to the bubbles...The paper is from Echo Park's Country Drive paper pad and I added a bit of doodling...just because!
I hope you can find the time to play along with our super simple challenge this week and look forward to seeing what you all create!

Passion for Promarkers - Flora and Fauna...

Good morning crafty buddies, hope you're all keeping snug and warm as Winter still clings on to us...for the moment, anyway! It's Tuesday, so the start of a brad new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week it's my turn to host! I decided to give you all a nice, easy theme of 'Flora and Fauna', so I would like to see either flowers/plants or animals on your projects this week...or even both!
Remember you can enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers). Please can you help us by stating which products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.

Our generous sponsor this week is Dies to Die For and the lovely Tracy is offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in her online store...

I decided to revisit an oldie image this week and picked out one of the lovely Digistamp Boutique Rosie images to use...
I just love this little cutie and she is so easy to colour! I teamed her up with some papers that I had received from the lovely Denise called Country Drive, from Echo park (love the Spring colours and there's even a paper with bees on...I mean, c'mon!) I coloured Rosie with my Pro/Flexmarkers...do you want a colour list?...okay, here goes :
Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink, Coral (my old faithful combo!)
Hair - Cinnamon, Cocoa, Henna, Umber
Top - Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Surf Blue

Passion for Promarkers - Flowers...

Good morning, crafty friends! Well, the white stuff is falling thick and fast now in North Wales, but I don't think (or hope) that it will come to very much...there's a dusting on the hills and mountains, but doesn't seem to be sticking down here in the valleys - and it can stay that way, please!
Despite the wintry theme outside, we have a floral theme for this week's challenge over at Passion for Promarkers - it's the lovely Julie in the hostess chair and she would like to see those flowers, please...whether it be flowery papers, images or embellishments, we would like to see them on your creations!
We are being sponsored by LeAnns World 101, who is offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store...
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LeAnnsWorld101?ref=l2-shopheader-name
We were lucky enough to get an image to play with and I picked the sweet Love Birds, though I only used part of the image for my DT creation...
I used a paper from the ever so pretty Sweet Garden Roses paper pad, from The Works and teamed it with soft pink colour tones and pretty floral embellishments.
I kept my card quite simple and just used the birds from the digital image to create a wedding, anniversary or even engagement card. I coloured the image with my Pro/Flexmarkers and added some pearl and diamante hearts for a touch of bling.
I hope you can find the time to play along with our fun challenge this week and look forward to seeing what wonderful creations you all share...
Happy crafting!

Wild Roses...

Good morning, crafty friends! I have been trying to get back into doing a bit of drawing lately, though always find it hard to get back into the swing of things after the festive season...and this is what I came up with...
This project kit has been added to my Craftsuprint store HERE and consists of 9 printable sheets including :
Predesigned CAS card front and mat
Precoloured topper sheet with decoupage
Digistamp sheet
4 Coordinating papers
2 printed inserts for 6x6 square and 5x7 cards
 For just £2.40

First up is the CAS card front with coordinating green mat - simply print off the sheet, cut out the layers and embellish to your hearts content, then add a printed insert for that finishing touch...a really quick card but with a lovely elegance...

...These two cards were made using the precoloured toppers and papers...

And with this one, I changed up the colours by using the digistamp individual flowers, coloured with Promarkers, then fussy cut leaving a small border...
I hope you like my new floral creations and will be trying to create some more designs in the coming weeks..
Hope you all have a terrific Thursday - we've got Parents Evening this afternoon, to see how the 'not so little' man is getting on, but whatever you're up to, have a good one!
Hugs,

Passion for Promarkers - Dies and/or Punches...

Good morning, dear Blogger buddies...and a Happy New Year to you all! Hope you all had a wonderful festive season (which seems such a long time ago now!) and are ready for whatever 2019 holds!
I can't quite believe that we are already a week in and as it's Tuesday, this means that we have a brand new challenge starting over at Passion for Promarkers!...This week it's the lovely Sue in the hostess chair and she's given us a nice easy theme of Dies and/or Punches...
We're being sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 2 digital images from their online store...
https://www.doctor-digi.com/
Today is a pretty special Tuesday in our house, as my eldest son turns 21 today...don't quite know how that happened?!...but I am so proud of the young man he is becoming (don't tell him I said so or it'll cost me?!) We were lucky enough to get an image to play with from our sponsor, so I made my choice with his birthday card in mind...
This is Mr Speaker (birthday) and he's shouting out a huge Happy Birthday for all to hear! I coloured him with my Pro/Flexmarkers and used papers from Crafts You Create, Seas the Day paper pad. I used lots of dies to create my card and decoupaged the sandwich board and megaphone of the image for added dimension.

Although I have been absent from Blogland over the month of December, I have been doing some crafting...mostly in preparation for our workshops starting back up again, but it has been lovely to have an empty table and everything back in it's place...something I am trying to continue!

I hope you can find the time to play along with our fun challenge this week and look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations...once again wishing you all the very best for the coming year and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful son Jason!
Hugs,
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
